Some of our work
Greater certainty for decision makers
Wellington City Council commissioned Capo Marketing to undertake a feasibility study to inform the development of a business case exploring building a new, extended deep water facility at the Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre (WRAC) at Kilbirnie. The study supplemented earlier research and focused on identifying current and anticipated use of existing regional facilities, optimum specifications of facilities required by major user groups, willingness to pay for improved facilities and potential for new facilities to attract major aquatic events to the capital.
Raising the bar for industry skills
We developed a Master in Strategic Marketing/Major Events for Kufstein University in Austria, a course delivered once a year. The Masters course provides an introduction and overview on the strategic approach to major events as global marketing and economic driver. The course examines different major events approaches, studying aspects such country brand, tourism strategies, economic impacts and environmental impacts. Students gain skills in developing innovative methods of event development, understanding sponsorship, solving practical problems in strategy development and brand assessment and Social Media strategies.
